I am still chewing over the $60 million dollar sale of the TMNT to Nickelodeon. I hope all ends well for everyone involved, especially the writers and artists I've been privileged to meet over the years. It's a good group of people. The one thing I can say with absolute certainty is that it's not remotely like "Conan Doyle selling his rights to 'Sherlock Holmes' to Stephenie Meyer." If you want to know more, Peter Laird talks about it at his blog here. He sounds so tired.

Posting about how much you don't care about something fools no one.
Defending yourself or your friends on fandom_wank et al is usually pointless but provides us with endless entertainment.
The problem with a movie about an emotionless society is that the people are really, really dull at first.
Christian Bale is really hot.
On another note, goodbye Michael. I remember when you were sweet, and quiet, and so talented it was impossible to believe you were real sometimes. I remember when everyone wanted to be you or have you, and when your face was beautiful. I hope the worst of the rumors weren't true. I'm so sorry it ended like this. |
