I write stuff, I watch stuff, I link stuff.
Happy Halloween, and good luck to everyone on my flist doing Nano!

Via [info]meganbmoore, awesome photos of kick-ass women serving their countries during World War II (Ally-centric but international).

Also, I watched the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie. It is every bit as bad as everyone has told you it is. Except for the Earth, Wind and Fire version of "Got to get you into my life" and Aerosmith covering "Come Together". Check it out. And then don't watch the movie. If you do watch the movie, do what I did and fast forward every time things get terrible; it's mostly pantomine so you can just follow the, er, plot along without the sound. (Believe me, for most of this movie, 'without the sound' is a very, very good idea.)

And last but not least, I keep forgetting to note that I wrote three drabbles for [info]remixthedrabble, all 100 words each:

Prodigy (The Unexpected Consequences Remix), Buffy-verse

Shameless (The No Trouble in Paradise Remix), Saiyuki Gaiden

And then I decided that Shameless was too optimistic a take on the characters' situation so I wrote a counter-drabble (yes, I am this neurotic):

Discretion (The Trouble in Paradise Remix)
